Mission Accomplished

It’s sunny today. Exactly a year ago today it was a mixture of squally showers and sun with the summer flowers fading away. On that day one of my Facebook Friends suggested I should publish my daily weather reports and nature observations as they offered something to think about apart from what other awfulness was occurring elsewhere. I thought there might be some mileage in doing that; not as a narrative journal but keeping them in the same format as daily notes. So, you could just look up any day of the year, say your birthday, and see what the weather has been like in years gone by. I have been making these observations for the past twelve years But when I came to look at what I’d posted it turned out that some days in the year had no entries at all. I undertook to fill all the gaps. But I had to do these within the rules I’d set for myself: Observation written on the spot, on the day in question, in the words that came to me spontaneously at that time. No cheating, no revisions (although I have corrected for typos) And after a year I have succeeded in filling in all the missing dates. Apart from one which I will be unable to achieve for another two years. (You should be able to guess which that is) but I can now begin the process of finding the resources and a publisher. If you think you can help, please let me know. Or just keep reading as I carry on posting.
